A collaboration with San Francisco based Peace Industry, a wool-centric Iranian rug manufacturer, resulted in three one-of-a-kind area rugs, along with a set of personal standing mats, which previewed at Neocon 2017. These artifacts brought richness through texture, pattern, and beautiful craftsmanship into their destined settings in the showroom.
The pattern exploration was inspired by nature; Concepts were generated through an iterative process of digitally manipulating and deconstructing biophilic motifs, resulting in the final designs: SWIM, BARK, and FLOAT.
